Debbie Davies was exposed to the music scene at an early age by her father
wrote arrangements for Ray Charles and made sessions with Frank Sinatra
and Pearl Bailey. In 1988 WC Handy Blues Award winning guitarist Debbie
Davies was drafted by one of the most innovative blues legends of all
time - Albert Collins. She spent the next three years on tour with Albert
and appeared on his 1991 Grammy-nominated self-titled release. John Mayall
exclaims "I don't often give endorsements or references, but once
in a rare while I hear a musician of such talent that I want people to
know. Such a one is Debbie Davies. Hear her now." She has collaborated
with artists such as the Double Trouble rhythm section, Kenny Neal, Tab
Benoit, Duke Robillard and Jay Geils.
