Albino, a 14-piece all-star ensemble featuring African percussion and a punchy 5-piece horn section, honors the fiery legacy of Afrobeat inventor Fela Kuti, by blending tight arrangements and jazz harmonies with propulsive, high energy grooves. For over 30 years, Ghana, West African singer, percussionist, and master teacher, Kokou Soglo Katamani, has studied, performed, and taught traditional and modern African music. Other members come from diverse acts such as Spearhead and Hamsa Lila, to create an infectious vibration that has dance floors bumping across the nation.
